Few years ago, I met this guy in Cebu, I think that was January 2010. While walking at the mall, he approach me and ask my name. I just said hi and walk fast.
Days after, one of my friends invited me to have a party night out, and later on we went inside the bar and I saw this guy wearing a white shirt and a jeans, he caught my attention for he looks so familiar to me. After an hour we went outside because the venue was co crowded and too noisy.
They also went out with his company and try to join in our table with my friends.
We’ve talked and asked everything about our own life.
At first I thought he was the kind of person who I hated most.
If you see him in person, he looks so boastful and strict, but I was wrong, when you were with him. you can’t stop laughing because of his sense of humour and his lil’ sweet words.
Our words might so limited and too little for we can’t understand each other very well because he can’t speak english fluently.
He keeps telling me these words “just look into my eyes and try to understand what I want to say” -I find it awkward yet sweet and romantic at the same time.
I can still remember the words and how he say it.
these are the words:
I think I might like you right now, and as I know you deeply you are now more pretty then, actually inside and out, you are beautiful. You never hesitate to talk to “STRANGERS” like me. And I never regret why we choose to have a vacation here because we had a great journey here and meet some strangers like you and now we became friends.
And I hope you will never forget me as we meet again in the future, just keep in touch and connected.
After everything, it takes me a years, a months and a weeks to realized that sometimes meeting/talking to strangers was not dangerous at all. Actually good things happen when you meet strangers, and it always depend on the kindness of strangers.
We just have to put in our mind that it’s up to us for how we deal to some other people that we haven’t known for so long.
Strangers are exciting, it also boost your confidence at the same time and you also had the chance to meet some people from the life we used to live in.
And I will never forget these story of mine for someday I will be a stranger too.
I think there are no strangers in this world, maybe they were only friends that we haven’t met yet…
